Seeking God & Finding Courage
In Revelation, the church at Ephesus is commended for its perseverance and for rejecting false teaching in a culture filled with perversion and idol worship. Yet even this faithful church received a sobering correction — they had lost their first love. It’s a reminder that standing for truth must never replace walking in love. When our hearts grow hard from battle, God calls us back to tenderness, compassion, and the gospel of love that first drew us to Him.
We’re all travelers here, walking through joy and struggle with heaven in our hearts. Sojourner is a simple reminder that this life is just part of the journey—our true home is waiting, and until then, God lights our path with purpose and peace.
When you’ve poured your heart out and no one listens, remember Jeremiah. God told him to stop mourning over those who refused to change and instead, to take care of his own heart. Sometimes the holiest thing you can do is step back, stay faithful, and let God handle the rest.
