Like millions of people, I watched memorial service for Charlie Kirk. I was deeply moved by the strength and grace of his widow, Erica. After the memorial, words began to form into a poem on my heart. I tried to finish it today, but I know it deserves more time, prayer, and reverence than I can give in a rush.
For now, I’d like to share a poem from my book, Everyday Matters: Words of Life. It speaks to the hope we hold in heaven—a hope that anchors us in times of loss and reminds us that this world is not the end of the story.
