Did you know that we end up in certain places for a reason? We make decisions, sometimes out of God’s will, but God can change situations. Even when we mess up and then turn to Him, He works things together to serve His will. We’re supposed to be in the lives of specific people, and they are to be in our lives, too. Some people are blessings from God, and others help us develop patience and love. God is the great recycler; He uses everything for His purpose and good.
8 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
The Apostle Paul was persecuted for his faith and spent many years in jail. No matter where he went or how difficult things were, he had the assurance of being in God’s will. Maybe you aren’t in the most ideal situation. It might be actually bad; we can have the same assurance as the Apostle Paul. We will still have challenges even when we are in the middle of His will, the place He has called us to be. There is, however, such an assurance that He is working in our lives. It provides peace and lets us feel at ease even in difficult times.
“And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].”
Philippians 4:7
“Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.  I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:11
