We lost my brother suddenly this month. Even though it’s been so difficult, throughout it all, we had peace and hope that sustained us. You go through an emotional wringer when a loved one dies, but God can help us through. I always said I don’t know how people get through cancer without the hope and peace God gives us. Now I can say that for the loss of a sibling. We miss him. However, we rest in the hope that Randy is with Jesus. He is no longer in pain, at peace, and we will see him again.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
I wrote this little poem shortly after Randy died and sent it to my kids. Today, I share it with you. May it bless you with hope.
