Poetry invites us to linger, reflect, explore, and savor truths we might otherwise miss in the busyness of everyday life.
I write devotional poetry because I believe God speaks through Scripture, beauty, rhythm, imagery, and the experiences of our daily lives—everything poetry celebrates and explores. Some of these poems are written from God’s perspective to us. They are grounded in Scripture and guided by prayer. I believe God delights in our creative expressions as well as the heartfelt cries that words cannot fully describe.
My poetry often flows from struggle, worship, and prayer—sometimes whispered in heartache and other times lifted in hope. These verses reflect honest conversations with God as I wrestle with doubt, discouragement, temptation, and the deep ache of unanswered questions. They also echo moments of surrender, faith, and unexpected peace.
