Not one person on the earth has lived a blameless life. Some people are plagued with guilt and some people walk away or bury it in addiction, activity or desire. Either way, there is no human remedy for guilt and sin. We can’t save ourselves from guilt and sin. However, God made the way for us to be forgiven and redeemed. One perfect man Jesus, God incarnate lived perfectly, took our punishment and rose again. This was all for us, to give us a new start. As you read the poem below, let your heart cry out to Him. Allow His grace to envelope you. Like the father of the prodigal son in Luke 15, the moment we turn to Him, He runs to us. He will run to you with open arms.
“And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. ” Luke 15:20

“Therefore, as one trespass[b] led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness[c] leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,  so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:18-21
